2006 Zinfandel, Maple Vineyards, Dry Creek Valley
At the end of September, the Maple Vineyard was ready for harvest. Hands off was the approach to this amazing wine. A quick 24 hours of cold soaking led straight to the barrels. 20% new wood was selected from a program of 30% French Oak, 30% Hungarian Oak and 40% American Oak. Ten months went by before this wine was bottled in mid July.
2006 Pinot Noir
Harvested in late september, the Estate Pinot Noir Was given a 5 day cold soak prior to barreling. Although using 100% French Oak barrels for aging, 30% new wood was used to keep flavors soft and silky. After 11 months of aging the Pinot Noir was bottled in August without fining and minimal filtration

2006 Pinot Noir, This 100% Estate grown Pinot Noir boasts a crystalline ruby color. The nose shows cherry and cola through spiceand sage. On the palate is a wonderful multilayered essence of wildstrawberry and plumb. Always bright and balanced, the finish is that of silk and vanilla cream. 340 cases
